To discover the fantastic cycling route of the “Costa del Trabocchi”

What could be more beautiful than setting off directly from the agrotourism, load some folding bikes into your car and go discover one of the most suggestive cycling paths in Italy?

The Via Verde dei Trabocchi is a long cycling path, characterized by bridges, tunnels and long flat stretches close to the sea. It was built on the old railway line that connected the train stations between Abruzzo and Molise. It is a recent project: much of the cycling path can be used, while some sections are almost complete, such as the one that will connect the Molisan coast to the Abruzzo coast.

The unique feature of this infrastructure, over 40 km long, is the sustainable mobility which includes the possibility of parking your car in a railway station on the coast and take advantage of the special train, “Trabucchi line”, which will allow you to move easily along the entire coast with your bike.

You can enjoy a typical fish lunch on the Trabocchi, ancient fishing machines built on stilts, enjoy the low and sandy coasts with your children or go discover the suggestive promontories overlooking the sea that hide rocky coves with Caribbean waters, without forgetting the numerous points of historical interest present along the coast
